Acupuncture & Classical Chinese Herbal Medicine in Austere Environments

The Tsum Valley in the remote Himalayas is one of the most isolated regions in the world, with limited or no access to healthcare.

In April 2016, the Tsum Valley Medical Mission provided medical care and health education to over 600 patients in the lower and upper Tsum Valley. All donations for future missions go directly to the Tsum Valley communities through provision of healthcare, medical supplies & mission costs including hiring of local Tsumba guides, porters, translators and mules.

Supply donations:
As acupuncture and Chinese herb supplies need to be specific in terms of gauge & type of needles, as well as specific herb formulas and method of administration, we ask that you direct all intentions of donating supplies directly to us via our Contact page.
